TiC EJ257 Stage 1 Short Block

Each and every shortblock is built to order and we make changes to it based upon what YOU are going to do with the car.  So two things to note:

1) Once ordered you will receive an email from us so that we can discuss your current and future needs to make sure this block is the correct fit for you.

2) Because these are built to order there is a bit of time before we get it shipped out the door.  When we talk we can give you a better timeline.

Every single Turn In Concepts shortblock starts with a fresh, brand new case.  Before assembly every single shortblock has a final clean in our industry leading ultrasonic cleaner, and followed with a white-glove hand clean.  Every single shortblock is hand assembled in our environmentally controlled engine clean room which features dedicated air handling and is kept at 68F year round.

Our Stage 1 shortblocks address the first shortcoming of the factory shortblock.  For the EJ series that addresses the brittle cast pistons with ring gaps that are too tight for performance levels of power. 

*If using D25 heads you must use a slightly thicker head gasket due to the smaller combustion chamber.  We recommend JE .039" head gaskets.
