As a part of our new HTS System are these brake shims.  A great addition if you're going to be tracking the car, and are at all concerned about controlling heat.

Brakes are a tricky thing when it comes to heat.  Some of the heat you generate you WANT to transfer, and some of the heat you generate do you NOT want to transfer.

One of the most important places where you do NOT want it to transfer is from the pads into the caliper pistons.  Too much heat and you start to cook fluid, seals, and dust boots.  Once these are cooked it's time to replace them, and quite honestly the time spent bleeding the brakes after every run or rebuilding calipers after every event is time that can be spent on something else.

We can help cut down on that heat transfer with our new titanium brake shims.  

• In each kit you get four shims (enough to do both front brakes).
• Each shim is 1mm thick
• Material is Ti-6, offering some of the best heat insulation available to keep heat from migrating from your pads to your calipers.

• Subaru 4-pot calipers
• 300ZX Turbo 4-pot calipers
