Something new and interesting....
There are four basic things that influence a purchasing decision.
- Functionality
- Reliability
- Convenience
- Price
Now, lets break each of these down for a quick summary. Functionality in this case you can think of as technology. I like to think that we've been pretty good along these lines as we're always pushing for doing something different and better than before. Reliability. This one is pretty self explanatory and I think we've done pretty well here. Convenience, I think we're pretty good on this. We try and stay accessible, easy to work with, and we've got a number of vendors and distributors that all seem to be pretty good at it. Price. This seems to be the biggie lately. Lets be honest here, when we go nuts on technology and function the parts can get a little pricey. At the very least more expensive that other offerings on the market. Now there is good reason for this as we feel the technology justifies the price. BUT! There is a thing about that. With a higher price comes a smaller market. And in this economy sometimes the two just don't mix. So, we've been working very very hard to address this here at TiC. It's not easy, but we think we've come up with a solution, and thankfully, we've been able to bring some of our strategic partners on board with the philosophy as well. In fact, one supplier, MSI beat us to the punch so I'm going to introduce all this using that part, and expand on it more as more of the parts come in (yes, we actually started production on a number of things). So, what you are looking at is the new STREET SERIES of parts. These are parts that while not uber loaded with tech they are better than stock, good quality, meet basic needs, and have to goal of BEING INEXPENSIVE.
- Plain and simple.
- Good quality.
- Meets basic needs.
- INEXPENSIVE.
